We are looking to provide a number of support groups, currently we support the
L.A.F.S group.(Lesbians in Ashfield Friendship Society)
This friendly support group for lesbians, bisexuals and women questioning their sexuality, meet on the last wednesday of the month from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

Along with the L.A.F.S group we now have:
Women's Activity Group
For mums who need a break.
Creche available (please book in advance)
This group meets every last Monday each month, 1pm - 3pm.
N.E.W (Not the End of the World)
This group is to support women who are recovering, or suffering from Mental Health issues or depression. Again it's a chance to make friends, chat, and meet others and generally feel less isolated. There will be various activities taking place each time the group meets.
N.E.W meet every 2nd Monday of every month 1pm - 3pm.
As with all of the groups a Creche is available, but, notice is needed of any children coming.

Chat Club
This is a chance to come into the Centre and have a cup of tea or coffee and something to eat. While you are here you can have a chat to members of staff and other women coming into the Centre.
Every Monday morning.
9.30am - 11.30am.
Domestic Violence Abuse
We run a drop in for women trying to cope with, or escape from a relationship in which they are being (or have been) threatened, bullied, physically and/or sexually abused.
This is run on behalf of the centre by Nottinghamshire Women's Aid
Every Monday morning 10.00 - 12.00.
Support Groups for the future may include:
Women with disabilities
Women experiencing cancer
Black and Asian women
For all of these groups there is a Creche subject to availability but notice is needed in advance of any child/children needing places.
But during the school holidays we run playschemes therefore a Creche may not be available, please contact us for details on 01623 473010.
